Accounting Specialist Role Overview:

Our client in Addison, TX is in need of an experienced Accounting Specialist to support their accounting team on a contract basis. This role is well-suited for an individual with expertise in accounts receivable and general accounting, capable of executing daily accounting operations with precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue customer invoices as per billing schedules
• Accurately record cash receipts in the ERP system
• Conduct account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities
• Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
• Support AP and AR functions when required
• Perform intermediate Excel tasks including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, with emphasis on AR and general ledger
• Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with Truelink is a plus)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
