Overview

We’re looking for an Account Executive to drive outbound sales, build relationships with staffing leaders, and own the full sales cycle over time. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love using data and automation to scale outreach, and want to close deals in a high-growth AI company, we’d love to talk.

What You’ll Do

  • Own outbound prospecting – Source your own leads and build a strong pipeline of staffing leaders (agencies and firms)

  • Set up & manage sequences – Use HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to create outbound email, call, and LinkedIn outreach campaigns

  • Cold outreach & relationship building – Connect with staffing decision-makers through multi-channel outreach (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn)

  • Qualify & nurture leads – Run discovery calls, identify pain points, and educate prospects on Engin’s AI-powered solutions

  • Progress to closing deals – Over time, take prospects from first touch to signed contract, with support from senior sales leaders

  • Optimize and refine outreach – Track engagement, analyze data in HubSpot, and continuously improve outreach effectiveness

Required skills

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-7 years of sales experience – Experience in outbound sales, SDR/BDR, or full-cycle sales

  • Staffing/recruitment industry exposure – Bonus if you’ve sold to staffing firms or worked in recruitment technology

  • Outbound sales expertise – Skilled in cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and running outbound sequences

  • HubSpot power user – Comfortable setting up and optimizing sales sequences and tracking deal progress

Desired skills

  • Self-starter & closer mindset – You take ownership, drive pipeline growth, and are hungry to move up into full-cycle closing

  • AI/Tech curiosity – Interest in AI, automation, and the future of hiring

  • Open to hybrid work in Hudson Valley (Kingston) and/or New York City
