Base Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 DOE

Are you passionate about building relationships and growing business in the green industry?
Join a dynamic team that supplies the materials that shape outdoor spaces across the Detroit Metro area. Weāre looking for a driven Account Manager to serve as a trusted partner to our landscape contractors and wholesale clients.
⢠Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts in the landscape and construction sectors.
⢠Develop strong relationships with contractors, municipalities, and commercial clients.
⢠Identify new sales opportunities and provide tailored product recommendations.
⢠Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
⢠Track sales activity and customer interactions using CRM tools.
⢠Stay current on industry trends, seasonal needs, and product innovations.
⢠Travel up to 50% to visit branches, customers, and industry events
Requirements
⢠3+ years of account management or outside sales experience (landscape supply or construction materials preferred).
⢠Strong knowledge of landscape products (mulch, stone, irrigation, hardscape, etc.).
⢠Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
⢠Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
⢠A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
⢠Valid driverās license and willingness to travel locally to client sites
⢠Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset
⢠Strong communicator and team motivator
⢠Adaptable, resilient, and solutions-oriented
⢠Passionate about the green industry and outdoor environments
⢠Experience in wholesale distribution or supply chain coordination.
⢠Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
⢠Certifications like CLP (Certified Landscape Professional) or sales training credentials.
