Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting a dedicated team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Clayton, NC

Pay Range: $22 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform structural steel welding using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Utilize oxygen acetylene torches and plasma arc equipment to cut various thicknesses of steel.
• Work collaboratively with a team of welders to complete structural parts and assemblies according to blueprints.
• Adhere to strict safety standards and comply with the ISO9001:2015 quality system.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment while ensuring quality workmanship.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with MIG, TIG, and Arc welding in various materials (steel, aluminum).
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency in utilizing oxy acetylene cutting equipment and metalworking tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and work 10 hours per day, including weekends as required.
• Must pass a welding test and successfully complete a background check and drug-screen testing.
