Ground Up Construction Recruiting has partnered with a leading general contractor in Des Moines, IA on their search for a Travel Superintendent. We're looking for someone with experience in restoration/reconstruction of multi-family and commercial projects.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary up to $160k + bonus
• $125+/day per diem 7 days/week
• 100% medical insurance paid by company + dental & vision
• Paid flight home every 3 weeks for 3-4 days
• 3 weeks of PTO

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all construction activities on site, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and safety
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget
• Review project plans, specifications, and assist in developing scopes of work for individual trades
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of project budget and associated costs
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and point of contact for the project
• Communicate regularly with project managers and point of contact to provide updates on project status and identify any issues that need to be addressed
• Enforce OSHA safety protocols and ensure that all workers on site are trained in safety procedures
• Plan and manage schedule with a four-week look ahead, including identifying critical path activities
• Manage and mentor project staff, providing guidance and support as needed

• Experience in restoration/reconstruction of multi-family and commercial projects
• Ability to travel to different job locations as needed throughout the United States
• Working knowledge of Xactimate, Construction Online, and Buildertrend is a plus
