Our client is seeking a Slitter Operator to join their team. As a Slitter Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality assurance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Slitter Operator

Location: Hanover, PA

Pay Range: $17 to $19 an hour depending on experience

What's the Job?

• Check loads of plate for possible problems before running them on the slitter.
• Accurately fill out production reports from load tickets.
• Inspect body blanks being produced for quality, margins, surface scratches, squareness, and color variation.
• Feed body blanks into the welder and feed ends into Double Seamers while checking the quality of ends.
• Assist in maintaining a clean work area and support the production team in achieving quality and quantity goals.

What's Needed?

• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand for 8-12 hour shifts.
• Good attendance record. Attendance is key to getting hired on!
