Our client, a technology company is seeking a Repair Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, and team collaboration which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Job Title: Repair Technician

Location: Durham, NC

Pay Range: $16/hour

 

What’s the Job?

• Diagnose, test, and repair point of sale equipment (printers, displays, scanners, etc.).
• Maintain repair records, document parts usage, and manage inventory.
• Assist with special projects (shipping, sorting, packaging, refurbishing).
• Clean, test, reassemble, and update units with necessary software/firmware.
• Maintain clean work areas and handle recycling/waste tasks.

 

What’s Needed?

• Ability to follow testing scripts and perform diagnostic procedures.
• Strong documentation skills for tracking processes, parts usage, and inventory.
• Knowledge of hand tools and small component repairs.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use software for repair tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
