Job Description
Regional Maintenance Supervisor
In this position you will perform and supervise work in the operation, maintenance and security of building, grounds and community in order to ensure efficient plant operation within a specific region. This team member plans schedules, supervises, participates in, and inspect the work of departmental employees engages in the operation, maintenance repairs and safeguarding of building and community. This position is expected to be on call in case of an emergency.
Starting pay range $79-$82K depending on experience
A day in the life may include the following:
- Supervises and coordinates activities of skilled trades workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings and grounds.
- Develops work schedules and gives work assignments to subordinates.
- Reviews job orders to determine work priorities.
- Directs workers engaged in major painting projects; performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings and maintaining and repairing building utility systems, such as electrical wiring and controls, heating and ventilating systems.
- Oversees workers engaged in installing servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment.
- Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance trade fields,
- Minimum of 3 years prior supervisory experience; or any equivalent combinations of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
- Requires possession of a Valid Driver’s License.
