TRC Talent is looking for an Injection Mold Process Technician for our client in Peachtree City, GA! 
 
Location: Peachtree City, GA 
Pay: $36-39/hr based on experience 
Shift: Day and Night available (6:45am-7:15pm and 6:45pm-7:15am) 2-2-3 rotation
 
Overview: 
We are seeking experienced Process Technicians to join our team in Peachtree City, GA. This role involves overseeing and maintaining the injection molding processes to produce high-quality products, particularly in the medical device sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in injection molding and possess 2+ years of Process Technician experience. You will be responsible for machine setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and process optimization to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations.
 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Perform setup and adjustments of injection molding machines (Powerlines, Engel experience preferred).
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot injection molding machines, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure production schedules and machine efficiency targets are met.
  • Utilize MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) for process management (training provided if necessary).
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of injection molding experience
  • 2+ years of process technician experience
  • Skilled with various mold machines and robots - preferably ENGLE 
  • Knowledge of different mold concepts and resins
  • Familiar with GMP in Medical or Food Industry
  • Experience with Decoupled Molding and Scientific Injection Molding (SIM)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
  • Experience installing molds and setting up the injection molding system.
  • Ability to connect and operate the instrumentation required for the process.
  • Proficiency in navigating and managing system panels.
  • Capability to independently run the molding process.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting issues, including overnight if necessary.
  • Experience training technicians on operating and maintaining the system.
  • Active participation in both the production process and the mold installation process.
  • Serving as the primary point of expertise for the initial connection and operation of the system.
