Responsibilities – PPF Installer:
- Removal of graphics and adhesive from vehicles and various substrates
- Preparation of vehicles for installation; washing/cleaning, isopropyl alcohol, primer application, removal of emblems and various parts/accessories from vehicles ie: mirrors, wipers, antennas & lights etc.
- Apply paint protection film and tint where necessary
- Utilize various tools and equipment to complete tasks, such as detailing, buffing, and ceramic coating
- Ensure vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and free of debris
- Follow established procedures for detailing vehicles to meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications/Requirements – PPF Installer:
- 2+ years' previous experience in paint protection film installation
- Proven techniques in the industry to include 3M, Arlon, Avery, Briteline, Oracal to name a few.
- Must know proper cutting, sealing & setting procedures.
- Experience in the removal of mirrors, vehicle parts and accessories including door handles helpful but not necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles safely and efficiently
- Experience with buffing and polishing techniques for vehicle surfaces
- Basic custodial skills for maintaining cleanliness of work area
