Meter and Instrument Repair
Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Meter and Instrument Repair Technician to join their team. As a Meter and Instrument Repair Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Meter and Instrument Repair Technician
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Pay Range: $30 per hour
What's the Job?
- Perform machine maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, diagnosis, and calibration of production, process, and utility equipment.
- Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain mechanical devices and equipment using hand tools and testing equipment.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components to locate the cause of breakdowns and correct the problems.
- Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine troubleshooting methods on any given equipment.
- Provide assistance during site emergencies while adhering to safety regulations.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial mechanical experience.
- Ability to safely install and repair motors, drives, starters, gears, pumps, and other trade-related equipment.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and interpreting blueprints.
- Intermediate level of computer skills in Microsoft Office.
