Role Summary/Purpose:

Perform preventative & corrective maintenance on various types of production equipment comprised of Cranes, Hoists, and specialized lifting equipment ranging from 1/8-ton to 50-ton Capacity. Duties will include inspecting, lubricating, load testing, and rebuilding equipment & components. This position will be a Tech 0, 2nd Shift Weekday Position.

Essential Responsibilities:

Technician will be required to follow procedures and document work. Technician must be highly motivated and willing to learn.

Duties Include:

• Preventative Maintenance Inspections • Corrective Maintenance Repair • Failure Analysis • Operation of Specialized Equipment • Load Testing New Equipment • Strict Safety discipline • Working with heights up to 50 ft.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a technical field from an accredited school or institution {OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 3 years of technical experience (including experience in plant operations)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :

  • Desired Characteristics • Strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic Skills • Ability to handle several jobs simultaneously with minimal supervision • Capable of working from procedures and reading blueprints • Certified Crane inspection training • PLC controls background • Maximo experience • Self-motivated • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to work independently • Strong problem solving skills. Familiarization with hand tools and measuring devices. • Ability to Work with heights up to 50 ft.
