Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the operations team supporting a dedicated group of professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Denver, CO

Pay Range: $33.86

What's the Job?

  • Plan, lead, and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Complete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural components.
  • Conduct machine tear down/repair and assembly, working on PLCs, VFDs, and electric motors.
  • Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members, and factory leadership team.
  • Support equipment installations, retrofits, and upgrades to include vendors and contractors.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in bottling or food manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems.
  • Capability to weld and fabricate to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Strong communication skills to coach and develop operators and peers on basic maintenance concepts.
  • Ability to operate a forklift as needed to complete duties.
