Join our team as a Low Voltage Technician I, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and installing low voltage equipment and related systems. This is a full-time position located onsite in Orlando and the greater Orlando area, Florida.
What You'll Do
Maintain, repair, and install low voltage equipment including card access and physical security systems
Work on CCTV cameras and network video recorders at tolling sites and department facilities
Troubleshoot and maintain data cabling systems, power, and data cable infrastructure
Use software tools for diagnostics and coordinate services across multiple departments
Complete necessary documentation and reports related to your work
What You'll Need
Required:
Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and manuals
Skilled in using volt/amp meters and basic hand tools
Valid Class E Driver's License
Preferred:
Familiarity with electronic theory and practical applications
Knowledge of maintenance management systems and CCTV systems
Familiar with facilities maintenance
Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred three years of experience in cabling systems
Physical Demands:
Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Sedentary work involving repetitive computer tasks
Key Notes:
Overnight travel and on-call availability may be required
Within one year of hire, must obtain Aerial Lift Vehicle Operation Certification and complete a 10-hour OSHA Safety Course
