Facility Maintenance Technician - Large Senior Living Community

We are seeking for a reliable and friendly Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team at a large senior living community in Kent, WA.  Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve.

Job Description

Our Facility Maintenance Technician is in charge of keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detailed oriented and friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Maintenance Director in identifying needed repairs or replacements in apartments, rooms, common areas, landscaping, parking areas, etc.
  • Complete work orders from residents and staff
  • Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs
  • Completes special projects as directed
  • Able to lift 50 to 100 pounds
  • Access crawl spaces

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of at least 1 year in general maintenance and/or construction
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in the State
  • Must have some knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures in plumbing, electrical, hvac, etc.
