Kemps has an immediate job opening for a Crown forklift repair Tech.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Crown forklift repair technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts. Proficiency with Product Support Reference Tool (PSRT) is essential for this role. As a Crown forklift repair technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our forklift fleet. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with Crown forklifts
  • Utilize the Product Support Reference Tool (PSRT) to access technical information and manuals for efficient repairs
  • Perform thorough inspections of Crown forklifts to detect potential problems and recommend preventive maintenance measures
  • Use CMMS system to maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities
  • Adhere to safety regulations and standards while carrying out repairs to minimize risks
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline repair processes and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Assist line maintenance when not working on forklifts.

 

Rate of Pay:

  • $32.91 per hour 

SCHEDULE:  Mon. - Fri. Start Time 5AM-7AM

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holiday
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in repairing and maintaining forklifts
  • Proficiency with Product Support Reference Tool (PSRT)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, including electrical
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach
