EXPERIENCED CARPENTER

Full-Time Position

$15 - 21+/hour Based on Experience

Experience in Residential Construction Required

Hollow Oak Restorations is a 5th generation, family-owned construction contractor business. Our name is synonymous with home building quality. For over 50 years we have provided home remodeling, restoration and building services in Dothan, AL and surrounding areas.

We are seeking an experienced, full-time residential construction Carpenter. As a “Hands-On” Carpenter, you will be responsible for working with a 2 to 3-person crew to complete the job. The successful candidate will be a hard-working, self-motivated leader who values quality workmanship, attention to detail, and has significant construction experience.

Hours:
7:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 7:00am to 11:00am on Fridays.

Responsibilities - Carpenter:

• Demolition, general carpentry, finish carpentry, framing, and flooring installation.
• Work with 2 to 3 other carpenters in completing projects and doing an equal amount of the physical labor.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared each day with the necessary equipment needed to complete the job which may involve traveling across the Wiregrass area.
  
  

Requirements - Carpenter:

• Have at least 3 - 5 years previous experience in residential construction
• Must provide references from former employers to be considered
• Understand how to read plan specs and follow them with precision.
• Be punctual and willing to work a full-time, 40-hour week.
• Resume must be uploaded, and online assessment completed for immediate consideration.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen
