Environmental Engineering Co-Op

UniFirst Corporation, one of North America’s largest uniform rental and facility service companies, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Environmental Engineering Co-Op to join the o join the Environmental, Health and Safety team.


Please note that this will be a hybrid position based at our corporate headquarters in Wilmington, MA, and will be for the 6-month full-time Fall Co-Op cycle. Targeted Start dates: July 7, 2025 - December 12, 2025. This position is a paid opportunity. 

Responsibilities:

  • Researching environmental regulations
  • Compiling and evaluating environmental data
  • Assisting our laundry locations with data collection and reporting
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Health, Environmental Compliance, and Safety Team Partners with various projects

Qualifications

Education:

  • Student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering

Experience:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and strong technical aptitude
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized

Additional Requirements:

  • Holds interest in environmental issues, safety, waste, wastewater, compliance
