As an electronic technician, you will regularly interface with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to guide and assist with daily operations.Job Description
We are looking for an Electronics Technician. This position will be full-time and on-site in Middletown, PA.
What You'll Do
Perform diagnostics and repairs on electronic equipment using hand tools and specialized testing devices.
Utilize ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other measuring instruments to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts and component functions.
Conduct field service visits to install, maintain, or repair low voltage systems at customer locations.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex technical problems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used for inventory management.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment issues.
What You'll Need
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Proven experience in electronics repair or as a service technician is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
Familiarity with Connectors, Cable Assemblies and Printed Circuit Board
Experience with Network Analyzer and Time Domain Reflectometer
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
