About the Role:
Demonstrate active safety leadership by leading the HSE strategy at the plant(s), and ensure full compliance with local and legal obligations and align with regional and global initiatives and developments for continuous improvement of the safety culture.
Drive continuous improvement in safety systems, promoting a culture of Safety First.
Participate in the Business Continuity Management processes and Physical security requirements.
Align plant operations with applicable HSE standards and practices, ensuring the risk assessment program includes all task based activities.
Ensure safety training is managed appropriately and in–line with compliance requirements, including new employee orientation, contractor management, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), forklift operation, and safe work procedures.
