American Generator Services (AGS) is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our fast-paced operations team in Katy, TX. If you're organized, reliable, and experienced with QuickBooks, this is your chance to contribute to a company that supports essential power systems across Texas.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank/credit accounts
• Generate and manage customer invoices and track payments
• Review and process vendor bills and coordinate payment schedules
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and monthly close
• Support tax, audit, and compliance efforts with proper documentation
• Collaborate closely with service and operations teams to ensure billing accuracy

Requirements

What You’ll Need

• Prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
• QuickBooks experience required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion with sensitive information
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, service-oriented mindset
