1099 Independent Contractor – Appliance Repair Provider

Overview:
Sears Home Services is relaunching its 1099 Independent Contractor Program to serve our nationwide warranty customers. We’re seeking skilled appliance repair companies or independent providers to partner with us and take on service calls via our exclusive Job Board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accept and complete residential appliance repair jobs via the Sears Job Board.

• Update job status, order parts, and manage scheduling within the Job Board.

• Communicate any scheduling changes directly with customers as required.

• Maintain required insurance and pass background verification.

• Deliver quality service across your selected coverage area and appliance categories.

Requirements:

• Valid W-9 and business entity in good standing.

• Proof of General Liability Insurance and Auto Insurance.

• Background check for all technicians.

• Ability to complete the necessary agreement and onboarding steps.

• Capacity to complete at least several jobs per week within your service radius.

• Experience repairing major appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, etc.).
