How does the Apprenticeship work?
The RK Apprenticeship Program is a four-year program we offer to employees to grow their career. Our entry-level wage is $16/hour while learning on the job and in classes to get your Journeyman’s license. In the RK Apprenticeship Program, our in-house licensed tradespeople instruct and mentor our apprentices through on-the-job and classroom training and our skills lab.
What Do I Need to Know?
RK hires for apprentice positions twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. However, different business units for RK hire all year round for hourly 'helper' positions. These are a great opportunity to start learning about the trade (while you earn money!). All apprentices have two opportunities for raises per year!
