As a pioneer in providing four utility services (electric, gas, water, and wastewater) in one enterprise, Colorado Springs Utilities cultivates a work culture dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and work-life balance.
What would I be doing?
We provide critical services to our community. We offer 11 Unique Apprenticeships across the following fields:
- Apparatus Electrician Apprenticeship
- Electric Meter Apprenticeship
- Gas Pipefitter Apprenticeship
- Line Technician Apprenticeship
- Power Plant Electrician Apprenticeship
- Power Plant Instrument and Control Apprenticeship
- Power Plan Maintenance Mechanic Apprenticeship
- Service Line Apprenticeship
- Substation Technician Apprenticeship
- Wastewater Collection Apprenticeship
- Water Pipefitter Apprenticeship
The programs are certified by the Department of Labor (DOL) and Veteran's Administration (VA), incorporate self-study, technical training, and on-the-job learning to enhance craft and trade skills. Openings for apprenticeships will be posted on our jobs page when available.
