HVAC Technician

Job Summary:

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to customers in the field by providing technical support to ensure successful equipment installation and operation. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for driving equipment to customer sites, troubleshooting problems and ensuring proper installation of HVAC equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
·Delivering outstanding customer service to customers in the field
·Troubleshooting mechanical problems and providing repair or replacement
·Documenting all work performed by completing daily correspondence with customers via email or in person
·Evaluating new equipment and recommending improvements to customers
·Servicing existing equipment when appropriate
·Performing equipment installation per customer specific installation instructions
·Completing routine maintenance tasks and prevention maintenance checks & procedures
·Maintaining a clean work area and surrounding vehicles at the work site
·Adhering to all safety regulations, including Life Safety Regulations, Hazard Identification and Rescue Squad protocols, and Department of Labor regulations.
·Completing required forms, reports & paperwork in a timely manner.
·Performing all work per scope of responsibility as stated in company handbook and company policy.
·Adhere to Virginia Beach, VA safety guidelines and standards.
·Maintain good housekeeping & sanitation practices at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• EPA Type II (Preferred)
