Urgent need for Vehicle Body Repair Tech in Tempe, AZ
Job Summary: Our car collision company located in Tempe, AZ is looking for a full time experienced Vehicle Repair Technician. In this role you will conduct every day automotive body repair techniques such as, dent removal, panel replacement, frame straightening, and welding, ensuring high-quality repairs based on customer’s needs.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily automotive body repair, including but not limited to, dent removal, panel replacement, frame straightening, and welding, ensuring high-quality repairs.
- Accurately diagnose and assess collision-related damage, including hidden structural issues and electrical problems.
- Consistently deliver repairs that meet or exceed industry standards, paying meticulous attention to detail to achieve flawless finishes.
- Efficiently manage time to complete repairs within established timelines without compromising on quality.
- Effectively communicate with customers, providing clear explanations of repair procedures, costs, and estimated completion times. Address customer concerns and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of repairs, including photographs and documentation for insurance claims and legal purposes.
- Prioritize safety at all times, following safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhering to workshop safety regulations.
- Proficiently use a wide range of tools and equipment, such as welding machines, paint sprayers, body filler, and computerized diagnostic equipment, while maintaining them in good working condition.
- Strive to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality repairs and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of repairs, including photographs and documentation for insurance claims and legal purposes
- Maintain high ethical standards and honesty in all aspects of the job, including accurate billing, inventory management, and parts sourcing.
- Follow environmentally responsible practices, including proper disposal of hazardous materials and adherence to environmental regulations.
- Follow all industry standards and manufacturer guidelines related to collision repair work.
Salary and More Details:
- Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses: Offering 85-125k annually based on previous experience
- Full time, Monday-Friday work schedule

- Must have a preferred 5 years of daily automotive body repair experience, including but not limited to, dent removal, panel replacement, frame straightening, and welding, ensuring high-quality repairs.
- Possess the ability to accurately diagnose and assess collision-related damage, including hidden structural issues and electrical problems.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities to identify and address complex issues that may arise during the repair process, finding effective solutions.
- Be willing and able to collaborate with other technicians, painters, and support staff to streamline the repair process and ensure an efficient workflow.
- Be open to learning from mistakes and view them as opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Be willing to stay updated on industry trends, new repair techniques, and advancements in automotive technology through ongoing training and certifications.
- Possess the physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and strength.
