The Senior Social Media Content Specialist will create quality content for Honeywell Aerospace’s social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter (X). Social media platforms will be utilized to promote the Honeywell Aerospace brand and increase awareness across multiple customer segments. Success in this role will be demonstrated by measured increases in web traffic and pipeline associated with social media interactions.


  • Manage, create and publish original, high-quality content across all Honeywell social networks and brainstorm creative ways of engaging the audience online
  • Work with customer marketing and digital marketing teams to develop and execute marquee content strategy for each aerospace segment and to align organic social content to overarching business priorities
  • Work with social agency and customer marketers to create social content calendars
  • Oversee writing style and tone for all content
  • Strategize and improve content delivery and promotion. For example, find efficiencies in content development by repurposing existing top performing content
  • Collaborate with content marketing agency, copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing to customer base
  • Prepare monthly reports on social media KPIs
  • Use analytics tools to gauge the success of posts and campaigns
  • Monitor engagement on content and suggest optimizations
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
  • Establish processes for collaboration with vendors and customer marketing team for social media campaigns and priorities
  • Support and ensure marketing correct campaign tracking (track web conversion elements, track the efficiency of various traffic sources and the user behavior)
  • Establish a data driven approach to monitor, analyze and measure performance, contribution and ROI across all activities that facilitate journey stage movement and pipeline acceleration of key accounts
  • Ensure projects and digital elements are implemented on time and with high quality.
  • Manage process and business stakeholder expectations
  • Document and share best practices for social media marketing with the entire digital marketing and customer marketing organization
  • Expand and develop Podcast, YouTube and employee advocacy strategies


Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization


  • Proven work experience as a social media strategist or social media manager
  • Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness
  • Practical knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
  • Multitasking and organizational skills
  • Editorial competency – you will conduct thorough audits to determine what content should be kept, edited, rewritten and more
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to drive a strategy through relationships, influence, data, and strong communication skills.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office – Experience with Excel and developing PowerPoint presentations is important.
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing, with minimum two years of experience with B2B accounts


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Ability to effectively work in a complex matrix organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Self-starter with strong ability to work independently as well as in cross functional teams.
