Sign Installer

The ideal candidate will have experience in Signage, retail, corporate interiors, and restaurant projects including renovation work in occupied or unoccupied locations. Our Sign Installers have a passion for signage, building, exceeding client's expectations, as well as while maintaining and developing relationships with co-workers, subcontractors, and client staff.

Summary

Installers have the responsibility to install signs on behalf of the company; ensuring they are correctly placed and connected and meeting all customer requirements. These professionals oversee placing, installing, and removing all necessary signs the company fabricates. In addition, Installer’s repair and modify signs on a regulatory basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Driving a company vehicle to client locations

· Installing signs that need extensions as well as make changes to any parts and issues needing attention.

· Work cohesively with other installers on projects to finish all objectives in a timely manner

· Report their progress to the General Superintendent and Project Manager in their department.

· Use different structure, manual, and power tools on a regular basis to install objects.

· Use protective gear when placing items on different environments.

• Install various types of signage including, vinyl, electrical signs, and components.

Qualifications

· Regulatory travel for longer durations

· Sign installers attend different installation and safety workshops to stay up to date on different procedures and protocols.

· Installers should be able to climb and work at high altitudes, depending on the projects.

· Verify all equipment adheres to company and government regulations.

· Ability to stand on their feet for long periods of time and are capable of heavy lifting on a constant basis.

· Possess strong communication skills to interact with customers in deciding which is the best course of action regarding placement of signs.

Education & Training

· High school diploma or GED

· Experience as a Sign Installer

· Safety certifications including but not limited to OSHA 10 and or 30

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Signage: 5 years (Preferred)
• Installation: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
