Sales Representative, Showroom

Nemo Tile & Stone is seeking to hire an experienced Showroom Sales Rep at our NYC location! Business is booming and we need to add a high-energy individual to our professional business development team, to support a very active local market.
This is a showroom position that engages both B-to-B sales and retail walk-in traffic. A base salary plus an excellent incentive structure will support your income growth to your full potential !
The right candidate is a high energy individual that is excited about making an impact from day one! As part of the Showroom Sales Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experience to designers, architects, engineers, and contractors, and of course, our retail customers, helping them to create dream homes. The ideal candidate will have a background in tile or stone, coupled with 2 plus years of successful experience in a sales role (interior design industry and/or luxury retail sales is ideal).
Daily Tasks: Sales Growth!!
· Increase sales through developing relationships with new and existing Nemo Tile & Stone clients.
· Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual recaps covering sales performance.
· Always deliver world class customer service.
· Ensure best practices for issue resolution, claims, etc.
· Communicate feedback regarding service failures/customer concerns to corporate.
Must haves:
· Upbeat, energetic, can-do attitude.
· Experience in sales and knowledge of tile and natural stone.
· Background in interior design industry and/or luxury retail sales.
· Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
· Self-motivated.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Outstanding follow up.
· Customer-centric mentality.
· Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Computer literate.
· BA degree preferred.
DETAILS:
· Job Type: Full-time Salary: Base salary plus incentives.

· Schedule: 5 days a week/ 8 hours a day/ includes every other Saturday OR Sunday.

Salary: BASE SALARY $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year PLUS commissions : target first year incentives : 15k if all targets hit, if targets exceed: unlimited.

Experience:
- Knowledge of tile and stone from craftsman work, interior design industry and/or luxury retail sales: 1 year (Required)
