Sales Rep wanted to persuade new customers away from competitors to help write the Sethmar story!

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting new leads, developing a client portfolio and maintaining long-lasting relationships with customers by promoting our brand. You will operate as the lead point of contact for a portfolio of clients, connecting with key stakeholders. Manage liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely, honest and transparent delivery of our solutions according to their needs. You will focus on the fast-paced brokerage aspect of our business; helping customers move their inventory in the most cost-effective way by identifying and providing logistics solutions with a customer-centric yet competitive drive. You will use market knowledge and trends to strategically offer solutions and pricing to your customers.

· Qualify and actively prospect for new customers.

· Seek new leads, drive new account growth via prospecting, sourcing and account development and vendors to expand Sethmar’s customer network.

· Respond to customers with a sense of urgency with a customer-centric mindset.

· Add maintain and grow relationships using our CRM ZOHO.

· Prepare quotes/bid for customers to meet your monthly and quarterly goals.

· Develop, maintain and manage customer relationships through strong communication skills, strategic solutions and superior customer service.

· Present customers with creative cost-effective transportation solutions.

· Collaborate with appropriate team to provide the best shipping solution for our customers.

· Self-motivated and driven to succeed with minimal supervision.

· Communicate any updates proactively and accurately.

· Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

· 1+ year industry experience preferred.

· Sethmar core service offerings.

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

· Must be able to think quickly and handle high volume situations.

· Excellent time management skills.

· Ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships.

· Ability to thrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task and work with a sense of urgency.

· Ability to persuade, motivate, influence and negotiate with others.

· Remains positive and flexible in an ever-changing environment with shifting priorities.

· Detail oriented with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

· Aptitude to learn and proper use of Zoho/Aljex.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
