Responsibilities:

• Forecast goals and objectives for the Service and Parts department
• Hire, train, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff.
• Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the Service department.
• Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments
• Create pricing guidelines for customer categories that simultaneously generates profit and creates customer loyalty
• Monitor and adjust inventory
• Guarantee all parts are properly tagged
• Supervise stock order procedures
• Create and enforce a policy for special orders
• Monthly analysis to maintain profit
• Work closely with service manager and body shop manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed
• Provide technical assistance when necessary
• Create and monitor reporting such as lost sales, sales productivity, etc.
• Direct outside parts and counter sales efforts
• Develop and enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
• Enforce safety requirements
• Maintain professional appearance.
