About this role:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to work in our colocated, modular data centers that are spread throughout the Bakken basin. The technician will ensure that data center problems are identified and repaired quickly. This is a full-time opportunity for an energetic go-getter. An ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and work well with others.

Work schedule:

The work is based out of Williston, ND and we are a Denver based company open to teammates traveling from Denver to Williston working on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotating schedule.

A day in the life:

  • Performs electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance

  • Perform specific preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning of equipment

  • Uses experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s)

  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity

  • Conduct performance tests with specialized tools

  • Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues

  • Repair damaged HVAC systems

  • Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required

You will thrive in this role if:

  • 5+ years of experience working as an HVAC technician in an industrial setting/commercial setting. Data Center experience is a huge plus.

  • Electrical knowledge required and EPA Certification Preferred (i.e. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.)

  • Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, et

  • Must be able to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and balance requirements of multiple and varied duties

  • Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR)

  • Reliable transportation to travel when necessary

Compensation Range:

  • Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
