We are seeking a Receptionist to join our Office Administration team. You will report to the Office Administration Manager and be responsible for answering multiple phone lines and greeting all visitors to Blum USA.

Below are the typical tasks in this role:

  • Checking in guests and/or visitors requiring sign in, handing out and collecting badges and notification of arrivals to Blum employees
  • Maintain & order office supplies
  • Create purchase requisitions
  • Prepare various mailings as required
  • Sign out company cars to authorized Blum employees
  • Check/monitor phone mail
  • Receive from & transfer mail to our mail carrier
  • Process & sort mail for all internal recipients
  • Expected to protect & maintain the confidentiality of all information, conversations, documentation, etc.
  • Required to work an office schedule with flexibility when needed


Job Requirements

Typically, having a High School Diploma or GED, plus1 to 3 years’ experience in an Industrial manufacturing environment will help you accomplish the assignments of this position.


Most important is having hands-on knowledge and experience with the following:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Lotus Notes Databases
  • Additional training in Office Systems Technology
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Communicating information & ideas in speaking and/or writing so others will understand.
  • Listening and reading to understand information & ideas presented by others
  • Managing work time & responsibilities effectively
  • Maintaining attention to detail by inspecting and evaluating the quality of work produced
  • Actively looks for ways to help people and to maintain confidentiality of available employee and/or company information
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds is required
