Production Worker - Coating, Mixing & Rubber Operators

Multiple openings are available.

Role Descriptions:

Coater Operator is responsible for operating an Adhesive Coating oven to produce a pressure sensitive adhesive tape. Must pass and be certified in Static and Grounding as well as Bonding training. Coaters receive a premium of $1.00/hr after 90 days of training.

Mixing Operator The PSAT Mixer position is responsible for the mixing and blending of silicone adhesives, catalysts and solvents. Employee is responsible for operating mixing devices to produce consistent batches of adhesive.

The EXT Tape Mixer position is responsible for the operating equipment which aid in weighing and mixing oils, pigments and powders used to manufacture Teflon tape.

Rubber Operator The primary responsibility for this position is responsible for curing the rubber in sheet form. Employee will be cross trained to perform other job functions in the department, such as rerolling, PSA and oven operation.


Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
  • While prior manufacturing experience is preferred, we will provide on-the-job training for qualified applicants.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, use simple math and use basic hand held measuring tools.
  • Physical demands include lifting 25-50lbs.
  • Positions may require further qualifications

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $19.20 to $40.48 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Estimated starting salary for this position is $19.20 per hour for external applicants. Upon successful completion of 90 days the pay rate will be $20.05. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
