Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist to Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties. Position is located in Lanham, MD

Responsible for the accountability and accuracy of physical and digital property records. Responsible for the receipt, delivery and inspection of incoming material, warehousing of customer/program and company-acquired material and packaging and shipping services. Maintains functional records in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Ensures accuracy of delivery information, finished goods inventories, non-proprietary government property inventory, transportation, import/export requirements, and customer returns in conjunction with other business area personnel. Ensures the retention of material and supplies for future use and in support of program development and deployment team operations. Coordinates transportation of material and correspondence within the local Northrop Grumman business environment. Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space. Maintains part traceability data throughout the Material Control processes.

  • Bachelors Degree and 6 years experience or Masters and 4 year experience or A High School Diploma / Equivalent and 10 years’ experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Familiar with data entry proficiency using property accountability and/or warehouse management databases
  • Must be able to maintain property records and provide traceability of materials
  • Must possess the ability to receive material, inspect and verify for accuracy and determine best storage practices for warehouse environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and be able to work standing up for extended periods of time
  • Experience with ERP systems for Inventory Control
