CEMA General Contracting, Inc. is a small business in CONSTRUCTION_ENGINEERING in Hampton Roads, VA. Our goal is to CEMA General Contracting, Inc. is a busy General Contractor & Electrical Contractor working in the Tidewater Area, North Eastern North Carolina, and the Eastern Shore. Our work is made up of commercial kitchens, restaurants, breweries, retail stores and residential general construction, electrical and mechanical. We have a dedication to quality and integrity and outstanding customer service. We are looking for a highly competent and skilled individual how can incorporate those qualities into their work performance..

Responsibilities:
-Repairs and replaces pipes, valves and fittings for high and low pressure gas and liquid flow systems;

Installs and repairs wash stands, toilets, showers, drains, sinks and other equipment requiring plumbing connections;

Cuts, threads and fits pipe, copper tubing, PVC, CPVC, PEX, PE, CSST

Repairs and replaces parts for pumps and associated pumping equipment;

Tests and tightens joints;

Installs, repairs and replaces soldered and brazed connections;

Taps liquid and gas mains for connections, as required;

Qualifications:
- Experience in remodeling, carpentry, or as a maintenance person is beneficial
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of pipe threading, HVAC systems, and mechanical principles is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
