Job Description
Plumber Technician
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Assemble and install pipes and fittings using various tools and equipment
- Perform pipe threading and cutting as needed
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, to complete projects
- Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, and estimating materials needed
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve plumbing issues
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
Note: Previous experience as a plumber or completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 50 per week

License/Certification:
- Journeyman Plumber (Preferred)
