AJF Inspections is seeking a self-driven, dynamic, and organized individual to join our team as a Marketing Specialist. The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in promoting AJF’s inspection services to the real estate community and other affiliated industries in an energetic, positive, and professional manner. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing new business relationships within assigned territories to achieve greater market share for the company while also maintaining and improving existing relationships and referral sources. This role requires the ability to effectively communicate AJF’s mission, services, and brand while excelling at networking and building face-to-face value-based relationships.


  • Assists with marketing strategies, preparation and attending industry sponsored events while promoting key services with energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence.
  • Timely and effective follow-up from all events and meetings which can include email campaigns, handwritten notes, phone calls, milestone celebrations and more.
  • Weekly Key Performance Metrics include prospecting phone calls, texts, and emails while utilizing social media as a tool to connect with prospects.
  • Assists in maintaining daily events calendar and preparation for Growth Team activity, including but not limited to, preparing marketing material, promotional goods and/or display materials for upcoming events, creating elevator pitch/presentations for meetings, and tracking all receipts and approved expenses needed for events.
  • Build rapport and develop long term relationships with real estate brokers, agents, associations, and related affiliate service professionals.
  • Maintain and update the company database of clients/referral sources.
  • Utilize the company CRM for documenting growth activity, client conversation and follow up which include email campaigns to promote AJF’s service and brand.
  • Professionally speak to issues when needed with customer service calls from Realtors and/or Real Estate Offices and assist in resolving and directing to the customer care department for follow-up.
  • Effectively work with office personnel and our Inspection team to maintain our cohesive energetic, teamwork cultural environment.


  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be comfortable speaking in front of diverse audiences. A natural 'people person' with quick thinking and personable demeanor is essential.
  • The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, organized, and creative, capable of working independently. They should demonstrate a competitive edge, a positive attitude, and the confidence to proactively pursue opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and judgment with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Service-oriented mindset with strong teamwork skills and the ability to find common ground in collaborative environments.

  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Google apps, Microsoft Office/Office 365, and various social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
  • Reliable transportation and a professional appearance are required.
  • This is a full-time position with occasional evening and weekend availability required for trade shows and sponsored events.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant tools.
