Due to growth, we're looking to fill 2-3 positions for Maintenance Tech (one will earn the title of Team Leader). Ideally, we will have 1-2 in Cincinnati and 1 in Dayton, OH.

Position Highlights:

  • Top pay of ($22-$30 p/h)
  • Sign-on bonus of $1000 (after 90 days)

MX Tech's complete work orders for our Property Services team, and perform a wide variety of residential property service-related tasks. There is no 'typical day'. As an example, you may have a WO to unclog a sink in the AM; then do a quick inspection on a tenant-occupied property with our industry-leading software; then maybe finish out the day doing painting and/or drywall work.

As our primary presence in the field, we want our MX Tech's to advocate for the property's best interest, and to make the right repairs in a workmanlike manner, efficiently, while delivering excellent customer service and professionalism.

Attn: HVAC techs, ELECTRICIANS, PLUMBERS, CARPENTERS, HANDYMEN, etc. We welcome your current skill set and want to help you grow and develop new skills and certifications.

Some of the Goals & KPI's of this position include:

  • Customer Satisfaction Score on the WO
  • # of WO's completed daily/weekly and/or billable hours weekly
  • % of call-backs / quality score.
  • etc.

Physical Resources

  • Quiet home office, good internet connection/speed, computer w/ multiple monitors and a printer

  • Variety of basic tools (consumables will be provided)


  • Min. 3 years performing residential property repairs, and 2 years working in the trades for a residential services company. IDEAL: certified or journeyman+ HVAC, Electricians, Plumbers, Carpenters, Handymen who have experience running WOs on SF or MF properties.
  • Min. 3 years living in the Cincinnati/Dayton region. IDEAL: 5 years+ in the Cincinnati/Dayton region.
  • Some experience with Property Mgmt and/or Field Service industry (work order) software.
  • For MX Leaders: 2+ years experience leading other Techs in developing their skills, coaching, and/or managing their performance


  • FT Employee
  • Good performers should earn $50k - $75k+. Base of $22-$30 per hour, + bonuses based on individual and company performance.
