Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hover Senior Living. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in building maintenance, repairs, and facility management, as well as a strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other general maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and overall well-being of our residents by maintaining and repairing the physical environment of the community.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs of the physical building, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
  • Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues in a timely manner
  • Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff and address issues promptly
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for larger maintenance projects and repairs
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and order of the community by performing regular cleaning tasks
  • Assist with groundskeeping and landscaping duties as needed
  • Participate in emergency response procedures as necessary
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff by responding in a professional and courteous manner
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in building maintenance and repairs, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use maintenance management software
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs. unassisted
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
