Position Overview
The Community Technician works to complete all maintenance and groundskeeping tasks as deemed necessary by their supervisor. Their work includes completing daily work orders, preventative maintenance tasks, proper grounds keeping, trash removal, equipment repair, etc.
What You Will Do
● Must be able to work a full shift / required work schedule o This includes extended hours during turnover period o Also includes responding to on-call situations as needed
● Complete work orders for residential units and for common areas as needed
● Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use
● Working Knowledge of MEP systems and make repairs as needed
● Adhering to preventive maintenance programs to the building as required
● Identify and repair potential safety hazards
● Adhere to the company safety policies and safety measures
● Knowledge of painting and drywall repair
● Experience with basic mechanicals (but not limited to): HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, water irrigation systems, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, roofing / ceiling leaks, Interior/exterior lights and fans, flooring, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors and locks
Ideally, you'll have
● High School or equivalent education preferred
● 3+ years of maintenance experience
● Basic understanding of MEP systems
● You will have advanced knowledge of HVAC systems
● Knowledge of general maintenance methods and processes
● Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
● Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
● Be a Certified Pool Operator (CPO)or able to attain within the first 3 months of employment
Specifications (All Engineering Staff)
● Requirement to lift up to (75) lbs. as needed
● The ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
● Must be able to work in environmentally and physically challenging working conditions
● Must be able to demonstrate safe work practices and the proper use of PPE
● Must have a valid driver’s license, valid insurance, and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
