Licensed Plumber - Service Technician
- Currently, for qualified candidates, we are offering up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus for Plumbing Technicians . Some limitations may apply*
We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Technician to efficiently undertake various plumbing tasks, from fixing leakages to installing pipes. A successful plumber must have thorough knowledge of service plumbing, diagnostic, and customer service. They are patient individuals with a practical mind and manual dexterity, able to work efficiently with great attention to detail. The goal is to repair, install, and maintain well-functioning systems that transport water, waste, gases, or hot liquids.
Responsibilities
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
- Install and maintain water supply systems
- Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g., leaks)
- Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, etc.
- Install and maintain water heaters, sump and ejector pumps, back up systems, hose bibbs, etc
- Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
Skills
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly with a great deal of patience
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- Diploma from a trade school or successful completion/start of an apprenticeship
- Valid license to practice the profession (license or apprenticeship)
- Apprenticeship sponsorships available to qualified candidates
- Bonus pay for the ability to sponsor Apprentices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $100.00 per hour
