Full-time Lead Veterinary Customer Service Representative (CSR) needed for fast paced, privately owned, AAHA accredited, multi-doctor practice. Under policy direction from the Practice Manger and Medical Director, the Lead CSR performs a wide range of administrative activities related to the hospital, providing quality patient care and excellent client service.

Individual will be responsible for overseeing a small group of customer service staff and assist in the daily operations of the hospital. Must be comfortable with delegating tasks and exude a sense of confident leadership. Must be comfortable enforcing hospital policies and leading by example. Will need to direct and train CSR's in their performance of a variety of administrative and customer service duties. Will help the practice manager oversee scheduling. The lead CSR will help with customer issues and assist in providing a resolution. Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once, and deal with high levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities. Needs to be able to work independently with ease.

This individual will be required to oversee the process of patient admitting and discharging at the front desk as well as ensure that daily patient flow is moving efficiently as possible and that clients and patients are seen and treated in a professional, timely and competent manner. Individual will oversee that records are kept up to date. This includes client records with charges, medical history, vaccine status, medications administered, laboratory reports, client conversations and communications, etc. Oversee the systems in place for medical record use and all client correspondence. Ensure that system of pulling charts, authorization forms for boarding & surgery, callbacks, patient cage cards and filing is in place and all receptionists are in compliance. Will be expected to oversee opening and closing duties not limited to correcting errors and balancing the end of day totals.

This list may be revised at any time and additional duties not listed here may be assigned as needed. Two years of supervisor experience required. Veterinary supervisor experience strongly preferred. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
