Location: Keenesburg, CO

Report To: Operations Manager

Classification: Hourly, Non-exempt, starting at $28/hr depending on experience

Essential job functions and responsibilities include the following:

  • Take the lead role in completion of day-to-day operations, routine and scheduled maintenance tasks and appropriate reports.
  • Carry out maintenance and testing activities for: Control valves, Positioners, I2Ps, transmitters not limited to Level, Pressure, Temperature, and Flow.
  • Maintain Calibration sheets for all instruments including Fire Eyes and LEL detectors.
  • Fault-finding and repair of instrumentation/electronic systems and equipment.
  • Modify, repair or replace systems and equipment.
  • Participate in required Safety training.
  • Interpret technical drawings: P&ID, One Lines, Panel layouts, and cable schedule.
  • Repair and maintenance of a variety of instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Maintain facility chromatographs and analytical equipment.
  • Oversee and supervise any I&E work performed by third party contractors.
  • Assist with planning and executing plant turnarounds including start up and shutdown.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and participate in company safety meetings.
  • Assist in measurement, maintenance, or operations as needed.
  • Participate in HAZOPs and give input on I&E portion of any new projects.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot and repair motor control centers, electrical distribution systems, motors, and other electrical equipment up to 480VAC.
  • Perform other procedures, equipment isolation, and scheduling.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Knowledgeable with Lock out/Tag out Procedures
  • Must have 3 years of working knowledge of natural gas measurement practices and equipment.
  • Computer experience, with experience in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of instrument controls and control valves
  • Must have good mathematical skills
  • Must be very detail oriented
  • Must have valid driver’s license for state of residency and be insurable under Cureton’s vehicle insurance policy
  • Must pass criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • NFPA 70E Arc Flash Training
  • Familiar with Testing equipment: 475 Field communicator, Fluke 789 Process meter, Amp Clamp, Cal Gas
