Highway Heavy Carpenter
Summary
The Highway Heavy Carpenter will be responsible for
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Instill Safety as a top priority.
· Working with crews building forms and false work.
· Measuring, cutting and installing materials per plans.
· Unloading, handling and stockpiling material.
· Maintains a clean job site; picks up tools, materials and equipment.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Knowledgeable in OSHA standards.
· Abel to work at heights.
· Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors.
· Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
· Must have a valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
· Communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
· Ability to manage time, multitask and prioritize.
Working Conditions
· Travel – This project is located in Kansas. Subsequent projects will be nationally based.
· Schedule – Work assignment will be weekdays from 7:00am through 3:00pm, with the occasional need to work overtime.
· Construction Site Environment – physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects. Exposed to high noise levels.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $41.00 per hour
