Handy Man

Duties:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems
- Install, repair, and replace fixtures, appliances, and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
- Maintain accurate records of work performed using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving issues promptly
- Supervise and train junior maintenance staff as needed

Experience:
- Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair procedures
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership abilities to supervise a team of maintenance staff
- Ability to fabricate or build custom solutions when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.54 - $19.91 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pearland, TX 77581: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
