Johnstone Supply of Kansas City is looking to expand our team. We are seeking an energetic, engaging, knowledgeable, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate.

Job Description:

• Receives products into the computer system and stores them in a timely manner.
• Maintains accurate, clean, and orderly warehouse and store show room.
• Inspects products of shortages, damages and prepares appropriate documentation.
• Prepares, packs, and stages products for inter-store transfer and customer pick-up and delivery in accordance with established standards (e.g. hazardous materials). Ensures that packaging is sufficient to avoid damage.
• Processes documentation necessary to ship inter-store transfers and customer orders.
• Loads delivery vehicles and assists customers with will call pickups.
• Operates hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment safely and in accordance with organizational procedures.
• Load vehicles and coordinate with Branch Manager on efficient and priority deliveries for each day
• Deliver materials safely to customers and unloads to customer satisfaction

• High School Diploma / GED required
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Experience driving a forklift preferred
• Experience with computer preferred
• Clean driving record and Valid Driver’s License
• Able to obtain DOT Health certification and Class E license
