A York based manufacturing company United CoolAir is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a position in technical support/customer service as a Service Engineer/Service Technician.

Job Requirements:

· Must have a completed a minimum Trade School Level or Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

· Percentage of Travel approximately five to fifteen (5 – 15) percent.

· Minimum 3+ Years plus Field Experience.

· EPA 608 Certification type Universal required.

· Valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks.

Skill Level / Responsibilities:

· Experience in installing and troubleshooting HVAC systems.

· Strong Aptitude for reading, understanding, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.

· Experience with microprocessor based control circuits a plus.

· Strong Aptitude for reading, understanding, and troubleshooting as piped air conditioner refrigeration circuits.

· Ability to communicate with customers about commercial and portable HVAC systems.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

· Understand the basics/direction of refrigerant flow within a refrigerant circuit as well as the state of refrigerant at each component location.

· Ability to write reports and knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office based products a plus.

· Must be able to travel to customer sites for diagnosis of failures due to component related issues or application or manufacturing related problems.

· Shop support for testing and troubleshooting unit performance issues.

· Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.73 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
