Job Description

We are looking for a HVAC installer/technician to join our Marysville, OH headquarters. The installer/technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC equipment repair or maintenance, be familiar with basic refrigeration technology, and be willing to learn new skills. You should have excellent troubleshooting skills as well as the ability to work independently. You should also be able to work on weekends during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment including refrigeration units, compressors, fans, heat pumps, air conditioning systems, and other equipment.
• Perform testing of HVAC equipment to ensure it works properly before it breaks down.
• Diagnose electrical issues on HVAC equipment using test equipment such as multimeters.
• Install new or repair parts on HVAC equipment as needed to ensure proper operation of the system.
• Assist in maintaining records of repairs performed on HVAC equipment using electronic tracking systems such as ProTrack or ProTrack Plus (optional).
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment that helps reduce future breakdowns or accidents by avoiding unnecessary repairs or replacing worn parts when possible.

• 2+ years of experience with HVAC system repair or maintenance (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience with refrigeration unit repair or maintenance (preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of electrical system troubleshooting using multimeters or similar test equipment (preferred)
• EPA Certified
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods of time, working at heights, and climbing ladders.
