Field Service Diesel Technician

Summary: The Field Service Diesel Technician plays a crucial role in supporting fleets at customer locations. The Field Service Diesel Technician has the ability to work on Freightliner/Western Star, Allison, Cummins and CAT.

· Scheduled Maintenance Inspections: Conduct routine inspections as per maintenance schedules to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition and comply with safety standards.

· Preventive Maintenance Requirements: Execute preventive maintenance tasks to prevent potential issues and ensure the longevity of fleet vehicles.

· Diagnosing and Correcting Vehicle Deficiencies: Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other issues in fleet vehicles, and implement effective solutions to address them promptly.

· Making Appropriate Adjustments and Alignments: Perform adjustments and alignments to various vehicle components such as brakes, suspension, steering, and engine systems to maintain performance and safety standards.

· Maintaining Records of Work: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and any other relevant information to track vehicle history and ensure compliance with regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Technician experience, qualified to perform work on most or all of products in-scope for a technician at this dealer.

· Complex diagnosis and repair.

· Work with minimal to no supervision.

· Effective customer service skills, self-motivated, responsible with strong work ethic.

· Locally valid driver licenses.

· CDL preferred but not required.

· Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
